    Another investment

    Late date M39 Finnish Mosin, these guns are considered pretty scarce. Research suggests that these 1967-1970,1973 dated rifles were used primarily for marksmanship training of officers. Mine is a 1967 dated barrel plugged into a 1905 Tula hex receiver (with Imperial Eagle and Cyrillic PK "Probaya Komissiya (Proof Commission)" stamp), looks to be unissued.

    Looks like it's never been fired, crown is mint, lands are sharp, and the bore is mirror-bright:

        Guess I need to start reloading for 7.62x54R, don't want to be shooting the corrosive spam can stuff through this one.
