I am not an expert in classic firearms but it looks to me the below receivers could be a good starting point for a very decent rifle.
This would not be intended to be a precise reproduction but to use all the original furniture and have a high end barrel
from Krieger or lothar walter profiled like the original, bed the stock, etc.. and have this thing shooting nice groups.
Some of you guys who know more about classics would this be a good receiver for a project like that? I am thinking the original stock
with a good barrel and a timmey trigger would make a difference and since I can chamber it and build it myself it I think it could be pretty accurate
and reliable.
