Wondering if this is what Randall posted up at the other place when he mounted a scope on his K31.

Can you kindly remind us too-lazy-to-search peeps what mount, rings and glass you used was?

Scope? That's cheating! Come on man, I'm an old dude and I can bang the 10 ring all day long at 200 yards with the stock irons. There's a bunch of guys shooting 600 yards with irons on these things.

(exception made if you're planning on hunting with it, otherwise I will insist you're either a pussy or legally blind for needing a scope at less than 1000 yards....hike up the skirt and get some practice with the old school sights)

Not exactly. I have an an S&K Insta-Mount Scout Scope Base that replaces my rear sight blade. It's easy to install, and reversable. It does come really close to the ejection port, but I haven't had any issues with brass smacking my glass.

NC-Star 2-7 x 32. Cheap, and long eye relief. I have only shot 50 yards with this setup so far. But from a bench I was hitting 0.5" groups.

I have seen a company that mades a rail that goes into the sight block. Then you could mount a scope further forward of the action.
