    A Very Important Message from Ben at Classic Firearms

    Dear Valued Customer, I have two very exciting announcements to share with you today.

    Classic Firearms has just purchased a highly desirable lot of C&R bolt action rifles.

    These rifles have been unavailable for import for some time now due to political aggression in their home country and while no one knows for sure what the coming years may bring, we feel very certain that no more of these will be imported in the foreseeable future

    They are here, on our floor, and as soon as they are sorted, graded, boxed and tagged, we will be bringing you full details and offering them up for sale. Our target date for posting these rifles for sale is no later than next Friday... 4/25/15.


    My guess is that they either obtained (or more likely are releasing a stored stash) of Mosins, probably 91/30's. The days of $99 Mosins are gone for good, if Classic is putting a bunch up for a fair price I would reccomend getting a couple as these things are headed the way SKS's have gone recently and the Garands before them.

      91/30's starting at $190. Probably should grab a few if you can, these are the same rifles everybody was snapping up for $99 two years ago and bubba'ing them into tactikewl abortions. With the embargo there won't be the endless supply there once was and these things are getting very scarce.

      For those of you considering adding a Mosin or two, I would suggest also grabbing one of the bent-bolt ex-snipers at Samco (I just did). They're running $200-250 but should be really nice shooters: https://www.samcoglobal.com/rifles-nagant.html

        What is it with this Friday? They as well as other business I am talking with don't know this Friday's actual date lol.

        Maybe I will buy one of these!

                Yeah, I knew this was coming. I got the email too.

                I already have plenty of Mosins though. In fact, I may sell some of them down the road a bit as my collection gets more rarified. By then, the asking price for a common refurb Mosin might be $300. Amazing, but not really, when you think about it. When was the last time a gun went down in price over a 5 -10 year period?

                    I could have sworn that when they first posted these last night that the Izzy hex's and Tula rounds were a $20 upgrade and the Tula hex's were $30 upgrade. This morning it appears the Tule hex's are gone (no surprise there) with the Izzy hex's now jacked to a $30 upgrade and the Tula rounds are now a $40 up-charge. Rape 'em while you can, eh Classic?
