        I with you on this one Hughes. I hate seeing historic rifles butchered. I was a History major in school so I do love History!!!

            I can appreciate the historical value, and I'm also pretty meticulous about the older S&W pistols that were handed down to me. I feel bad even shooting certain guns and feel a bit guilty that I actually carry my pinned airweight.

            On the flip side, for those who have original condition collectibles, every time someone else hacks one up yours becomes more valuable.
