  • You always remember your first

C&R that is. What was your first purchase? Why?

For me it was a K31. Came up in the oddest of places. Had my choice of it, or a few others, but it just spoke to me. Did a bit of research and was even more happy. If you have one, you know what I'm talking about, if you dont, get one while you can.

Tell me all about your first.
    Athiest. Because... science

M44. Is it bad that I had to look at my book because I've bought so many C&R that I really couldn't remember my first?
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

I am not in the C&R but I do appreciate them. I guess the only C&R is a very old shotgun I got passed from my grandpa.
IMO do complete meaningful thread titles otherwise we start going like on the other side of the mississippi ...if you know what I mean. lol.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

Run-of-the-mill? Looks like a laminate (or at least really nice grain) to me. I've got a 91/30 laminate hex that's a looker. BTW, did the smell from that rock hard "rubber" butt pad ever go away or does it still smell like the inside of a Harbor Freight store?

1950's something Chinese SKS. Beat up stock, but works like a charm. Why? Because SAFE Act. Semi-auto fun with quick loading strippers.

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

Mosin Nagant 91/30 because it was only $80. Now I have more than I can recall. Couple mosin's, french mas bolt and semi, Several different mausers (german, swiss, argentine, chinese), SKS, couple K31, carcano, Enfield, dutch mannlicher. Still looking to pick up a Garand, 1903, Arisaka. If its old, decent shape and ammo is still available ill do my best to lowball until i own it.

Not too sure on the laminate. I'm not much of a C&R collector. I am more of the black rifle disease variety. But I enjoy wondering when I take the Mosin out what kind of action it saw, if any. How many enemy kills? Who was it first issued to? It's a piece of history for sure.

Put on a 1" rubber butt pad that I found on Amazon for about $12. It made the rifle a lot more pleasurable to shoot. I still have the original steel buttplate if I ever had to put it back on for full C&R effect.

c&r covers a big field between commercial & military. so in the same order; probably a winchester lever gun, a 92 or 94. on the other side maybe a rem 513t. memory, not so good.
otherwise, mary jane rotten crotch, that i do remember .........
