  • Tech Sights for an SKS - anyone use them?

Considering putting a set of these on an SKS. Increases the sight plane by 10 inches and if you buy the TS200 you also get elevation adjustment. I'm hesitating as there is a linked video by nutnfancy that talks about them. While he loves them he also says he had to dremel away part of the rear sight base (original sight) to get a clear sight line using the TS100 (not elevation adjustable)

I'd love to put them on and be able to tighten up groups at 50 and 100 yds but I don't want to permanently alter any part of the rifle. Anyone use them?
    Thanks.

I've never used them, but mines just a "for fun" plinker. I'm happy hitting thughes ' steel plate every 4th time or so. I Def wouldn't take a Dremel to one though.
    Athiest. Because... science

      This ^

I've thought about them but don't like having to remove the rear sight blade (even though it is not a permanent mod). I can hit a standard IDPA-sized steel at 200 yards with 8 out of 10 shots and shoot 2" groups at 50 yards using the stock sights....I'm good with that.
Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own
