    Yeah, it getting pretty tiresome hearing the cries of "There are no more of these for the market because of the ban on importing Russian firearms". The dealers have a few shipping containers stashed away and they're releasing small batches at highly inflated prices to cash in.

    It's all good news as far as I'm concerned, I never paid more than $150 for any one of the dozen + that I own. Makes for a nice retirement fund if the prices stay up.......

    Sweaty Ben over at Classic ran an auction on a garden variety M38 Mosin last week, winning bid was almost $1700.00!!!!! Seventeen hundred bucks for a $250 rifle (makes me think about putting mine up for auction).

      absolutely freakin' crazy ...these are disposable rifles, made as cheap as possible ..I bought mine just too shoot the cheap-azz russian ammo

      I had a Norinco sks that I paid 99$ for, some yugo sks at 129$ a russsian Tula sks at 119$ a Tuyla "Parade Model" at 169 ..

        SKS at the gun show (b/c I am sure I was the ONLY one there) were going for $500...with bayonet.

        THAT is what I am not clear on....if the bayonet LUG is a 'feature,' is a bayonet? It is permanently attached.

          "Features" are only relevant to detachable magazine equipped rifles. Stock SKS has a fixed internal mag.......
