Looks good. Do you use beer, or that fizzy yellow stuff that tries to pass for beer?

grated jalapeños huh? Seeds and all?

labatt ice seems to work great ..!!
I roasted the tomatoes on a hot cast iron pan
the jalapenos get grated on a old fashioned brick grater, I pick out a lot of the seeds .. sometimes
recipe seems to always want more chili powder and wostershire
the sausage is what kicks it over the top

I'm cooking up some Dr Pepper ribs in the crock pot. My second favorite way to do ribs. It's the lazy way. I always prefer the smoker but that's a lot more tending to.
I post pictures but I still see no setting to reduce pixels so they are always over 2mb.
I coat about 3lbs of ribs with Sweet Baby Ray's,put them in the crock pot with a can of Dr Pepper.
Low for 8hrs. Take them out of the crock pot, sauce them again and bake at 350* in the oven for 30 mins.

I had pulled pork. It was a picnic size roast. It was roasting for 6hrs and still could use a bit longer. But it was very good.
I like to make it because I don't put too much salt and keep it juicy. I remember last time at sticky lips it was so dry and salty
I probably drank 1 gallon of water that night.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

Geez Norm. PC sensitive much? Cola flavored beverage so you don't create the binary coke or Pepsi option?

Trying a slow roasted pulled pork today...

Didn't have a shoulder so am using a loin. Hope that works, LOL...

Got this rub off the Internet:

                            2 tbsp paprika
                            2 tbsp brown sugar
                            1 tspn cayene pepper
                            1 tspn salt
                            1 tspn pepper
                            1 tspn garlic powder
                            1 tspn onion powder

I added 1 tspn Stubbs Pork rub (chilie pepper/lime based rub) and 1/2 tspn ground mustard because I can never leave anything alone

                            1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
                            3/4 cup water

Slow cooker on low 8 hrs....

                            We'll see how it goes.

I always go heavy on the vinegar, as it tends to float all the grease out of the meat
