I see Canada is going full retard: a halt on all purchase/shipping/transfer of handguns, mandatory "buyback" for everything deemed an "assault weapon", ALL magazines must be permanently modified to hold no more than 5 rounds. Emperor trudaeu has this one locked since his party is a super majority. The libs on Twitter are going crazy asking why we can't do this in America because "it's about time".Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own
I have to bend over too far
I get a boner.
bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!
I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Apparently I'm a horrible person because I'm still wondering if he actually used the AR inside the school. Last report I heard was that he took a pistol and rifle with him, and it sounds like there was 12 minutes of rifle fire outside the school.
Now Biden is suddenly saying nobody needs a 9mm because they're so much more destructive than a .22 caliber bullet.
Did Biden just let the truth slip, or am I just looking for conspiracies where there aren't any?
"And I sat with a trauma doctor, and I asked him—I said, 'What's the difference?'... I said, 'Why are they dying?' And they showed me x-rays. He said, 'A .22-caliber bullet will lodge in the lung, and we can probably get it out, may be able to get it, and save the life. A 9mm bullet blows the lung out of the body.'
"So the idea of these high-caliber weapons is of—there's simply no rational basis for it in terms of thinking about self-protection, hunting... and remember, the Constitution, the Second Amendment was never absolute. You couldn't buy a cannon when the Second Amendment was passed. You couldn't go out and purchase a lot of weapons."Last edited by WARFAB; 05-31-2022, 11:22 AM.NRA Life Member

Yeah...so when I'm being attacked by a whacked-out meth head with a butcher knife I want a .22 peashooter that will inflict a completely recoverable wound, not a self defense weapon capable of "blowing the lungs out of his body". <rolls eyes>
"high powered 9mm rounds"
Hey Joe, how about you have all of the Secret Service agents in your personnel protection detail give up their 9mm's (handguns and MP5's!) for 22LR pistols?
The stupidity of these people continues to amaze me.

I asked someone how they defined "high velocity" yesterday after he said high velocity and high capacity need to be banned, and was called names for "arguing semantics." His answer, once he said "you can google it too" was >2000fps. I looked it up and that 2000 fps line basically eliminates all centerfire rifles, and some rimfire. I may post the "discussion" to show what we're up against.

camper4lyfe thanks for posting. I have one suggestion to try if you keep trying to reach people like that. Don't argue back at all. Don't try to defend your position. Say that you hadn't considered that and ask how they got to that conclusion or what sources they used on Google so you can check them out.
Also try and show common ground from beginning. For example no one wants to see anyone senselessly killed by guns or anything else for that matter.
If that falls then ask for what their ideal solution would be if they had final say on matter.
In my conversations I try to point out the 5 why's to find a root cause and come up with a meaningful solution.
For example.
Problem:
A lot of people die in mass shootings.
Why1? Person used a semi auto firearm
why2? Because it was easier Why3? They wanted to make a point in a way that can't be ignored.
Why4? They may have been abused mentally or physically whether intentionally or not.
Why5? They have mental illness at the time that doesn't allow them to except their circumstances which makes them feel weak and committing mass murder let's them feel powerful for once and the media will help spread their message.
Fix: address mental health. Take the stigma away from needing and asking for help and don't penalize people for needing it. Provide mental healthcare in a rapid manner when sought and make sure those who help aren't overworked themselves.
