I want the challenge but I am in no rush to get anywhere and if it hurts I stop. I mean, this doesn't mean is not doable or cannot we push a bit more every time but the goal is to
simply do it and have fun. no strings, no superman BS.

The idea here is to be good enough to take long hikes in the mountains and also a BOB and get away from trouble far enough w/o the need of assistance from anyone.
The prepping, the bob and all that is great but perhaps the thing that needs more prepping is the body itself and the mental attitude when faced with tough challenges.
We spend too much time on the office desk and then the stupid internet and not enough outdoors and doing something healthy for both the body and the mind.
So all that while we have some fun w/o going all competitive and BS like that.

I agree about physical body preparation, so let's find a loop, with aid, and no worries about who makes it to lockpprt. Free camping, etc.

    Gannett hill anyone?
    Athiest. Because... science
