Bad season?

Is it just me, this was the worst year for fishing I have had in a long time. Some days I wouldn't get so much as a nibble.

Fishing was definitely off this year, granted I was only able to get out once, but we weren't even getting nibbles with worms (in the 1000 islands, worms at least guarantee you perch, not so much that day).

I think the fishing was great!! I think Wildman may have a pic on his phone of a young man he had brought with us on the boat standing next to the fish he reeled in. Hopefully he'll post it up here. Besides ... there's no such thing as a bad day or bad season of fishing 'cause it's always better than ANY day at work!!

We had no issues fishing this year. I think we caught something every time we went out. Even caught a seagull.

The seagull was the funniest damn thing I've ever seen!! It friggin stalked us too!! It was waiting for WM to toss that damn lure!! I saw the seagull and just as I said to WM "Hey *******!! Watch this ****!! That damn seagull will dive down in the water and come up with something and ... " and that's when I quickly realized I saw fishing line go up in the air and WM started yelling "What the ****!?!?!?!" I damn near fell outta my seat and over the side. Worst part was ... the damn seagull literally hovered over us waiting for him to throw that lure again. He did and that damn bird went right back after it. It wasn't long after that, that we decided to call it a day. Ahhhh ... good times!!

HAHAHA that seagull was insane. I couldnt believe he wanted that lure so bad. He stalked us for a good 15-20 minutes. Craziest thing I have seen.
