The tackle box you have is pretty close in size, have you had the chance and look for a tackle bag?

All I say is the one I got is plenty big enough for me,not sure if it would work for you but I would checking them out and see if it would fit all your tackle you have...

I think I'll wind up going with a medium size since I only bring a few crankbaits, a few spinners, one or two top water and LOTS of Senkos and other soft plastic baits. Just trying to make room in the boat is all.

Chicken Shoot went fishing this weekend to get away from the house and take my mind off from the Heart and back problem,My friend Joey and I went to Chateugay Lake,it was a very nice day but the wind really did not corporate with us making it hard to stay in place even with Joey trolling motor which is a MotorGuide Freshwater Tour Series Digital Bow Mount Foot Control Trolling Motors it has a thrust rating of over 82lbs.

We did have a great weekend I only got a few pictures with my cell phone of what we caught,even though Bass season is not open we caught quite a few Bass both small and large mouth..

Joey caught a really nice Bass I did not get a chance to take a picture of,I think he got a picture of his if so I see if he can send it to me,It was really funny because at the same time he land his big Bass I was also reeling a nice size Bass in at the same time so it was to hard to take a picture..

Well here is those pictures,sorry there not the best quality,I wish I could have gotten more picture so till the next I go fishing I get more for you..All the Bass we did catch where released and unharmed..

I really enjoyed going out fishing,

I know I be doing a lot more and I want to go up your way and do some fishing with you over by the range for some big catfish,

Just have to figure when would be a good time for me and you to go,I think you said you had a camper to me once and you told me I could stay in it so I would stay in your camper if that is still ok for a couple days so we can do some fishing at night and day..

Oh by the way when does catfish season open,I like to keep a couple to try out..I not sure on the dates to keep fish except for Bass,I need to get a fishing book to find out the dates on what you can keep and not keep..

The camper won't be here from the end of July through the beginning of August. I'm not sure about a catfish season. I don't think there is one. I believe it's open all year. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. You can't eat them from the Hudson now that the EPA messed up the Hudson!! Ain't nothing saying we can't hit Saratoga Lake though for some bullhead and you can cook them up. Same with the bass!! I use to catch some REALLY big bass down Fish Creek and give them to a friend's father who loved fresh fish. He was older and couldn't fish like he used to so I did it for him and man ... did he appreciate it. Fish I would have LOVED to have in the livewell during a tourney, I'd bring them back to him. Anyways, we can hit a few places around here and maybe get wildman to join us. Just need to figure our a date. Maybe middle of August r so because with my Daughter's softball tournaments going on and she's still not through her regular season yet, time is scarce for me. She's playing 10U AND 8U All Stars this year. Because of her birthdate, she's eligible for both and will be again next year when she's 9! LOL

As far as the catfish goes it be just nice to catch some take some pictures and just go fishing with you and Wildman,hell I think if Cgrutt is around the area maybe he will come over and join in the fun..

I would say we could meet C up in LG but ... it's like $100 for a permit (which they don't like to hand out) and $100 to launch it and $100 to take it out. I haven't been up there since about 2 years after they started their whole permit crap!! Spent most of the summer up there for almost 30 years .... now .... nope. They won't be getting money from me. Even Bayshore in Bolton got greedy. It's a shame really. Oh well ... we have other great places to fish. (Although I do miss Basin Bay where we had our camp .... and Paradise Bay where the boobs were released in the wild!!)

Not sure about fees but I doubt it is as expensive as you say. I think the season pass was about $85 for my boat and it is a relatively large boat. I'm sure a bass boat would be less. Then again you can come on my boat and there won't be any fees lol. Its not a fishing boat though so no slow trolling around rocky islands lol. Bayshore? Do you mean Norowal? The town took it over several years ago. Not sure what they charge to launch but it includes parking for your truck and trailer.

You,,Chicken Shoot,Wildman and myself should all hook up on a weekend and go on a fishing trip and land some big fish so we can all brag about it,lol

Hell maybe we can get some others to come and make it a NYSG fishing trip for a weekend...

Clarence I don't know what the day use fees are but doubt they are as high as CS thinks. No chance getting me for a weekend fishing trip during summer. My wife and son hardly see me during week and the weekends are family time. That's not to say you fine gents couldn't join us some afternoon. I just don't have a fishing boat so can't troll close to rocky islands etc.
