Sounds awesome CS,I have a few things I need to do early in the AM then off to the store to get some fishing equipment..I definitely going to get some of those Senko worms and hooks and a couple spinners and of course a road and Tackle Bag,will post up some pictures of what I do get might not be much but it be a start.

I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft

Well ... went out fishing with the little one today and the bait of the day was crankbaits! WOW!! Pickerel and bass were slamming it!! I let the little one throw the Senkos like she usually does and she had a few on but they came off. Where we were, it's usually loaded with weeds this time of year. Not so at this point. The dams have been wide open which is keeping the current extremely strong so the weeds aren't taking hold. I had immediately shifted from the docks, the few scattered Lilly pads, as well as the shallows, and started casting into the the middle of the creek where it was the deepest. (with the dams open the creek is running about 10' at it's deepest point where it should be 12-15' deep) One after the other after making the switch. We had fun.

Well Chicken Shoot here is all the stuff I got today,The tackle bag was $80 comes with 4 tackle compartments so I bought a extra one to have 5,it also comes with a little cooler that can hold a 6 pack of soda or beer, lol also has a sun glasses holder, there is also a few other compartments to hold other stuff..I also got a free pair of pliers with the tackle bag go figure, the funnest part they sell these pliers for $30,I was it is a good thing as I never in my life paid $30.00 for a pair pliers,I also got all sorts of Senko Worms in different colors, I also got a few Off set hooks for the Senko Worms,#4/0 and 5/0 hooks for the Senko worms, got a couple small bobbers, couple Eagle Claw Lazer Deluxe Barrel Swivel with interlock snap size 12 and 14 ,couple SPRO Ball Bearing Swivel with inter lock snap size #2 also got a couple spinner baits.

There was the ones you told me to get but forgot what they where call so I need to get those next month,I have to go see what you called them..

I also got a new rod today for perch, sunfish,Calico or and other small fish it is a Guide Series Classic Ultra Lite,I kind of lucked out also today as my landlord gave me a rod, I was shocked so I be using it for Bass and bigger fish as it is a little heavy for perch but will work if I need it..so for the time being I am going to use the reel you sent me till I get a little smaller reel for like 6 to 8 lb test for perch and smaller size fish..

I do have some good news my friend from Malone, NY the one who has the Bass boat I went fishing in last year called me today and ask me if a want to go on a road trip,I said where Joey he said where going to have to use your truck and trailer and I will pay for the entire trip such as gas and food to go fishing for Catfish around WaterTown,NY there is couple places that we will fish.

I was like hell yeah I never seen or caught a catfish before, the only thing I know about catfish is they look like bullhead but on a bigger scale.Where going to use my truck and trailer to haul his small 12 foot boat,6 hp motor and trolling motor because wear where going you can not use anything bigger then a 10 hp..

I will not be using any of my gear as the catfish he told me will be catching can get anywhere between 3lbs all the way up to 20lbs or bigger,he did say I could use my stuff but he would rather see me fish with some heavier gear and he is going to set me up with 2 rods/reels that he uses for just Catfish..Where planing on leaving Friday depending if the weather is good to go up that way,he going to let me know tomorrow he told me,where going to fish both night and day time..I think where going to stay there from Friday till Sunday..

I really hope the weather is going to be nice as I am really looking forward to going on this trip to catch something I never caught or seen before pus have the option to catch something really big..

I also going to bring a cooler to bring some back home to put in the freezer..

Well here is the pictures of all the stuff I got so far,Will pick up some more tackle next month..

Nice start you got. Not sure if you know it or not, you just developed a new habit. Don't pass up garage sales, you now know what stuff goes for in a big box store, start hitting garage sales early the 1st day and ask for fishing stuff even if it isn't out. The best deals are often found that way. I once ran into the biggest collection of Civil War rifles and collectable I've ever seen when asking for fishing eqiupment, you never know.
I must say I love beavers.

Thanks harley will keep a eye out for the deals..

Chicken Shoot it looks like where not going to be going Catfish fishing according to the weather it is not going to be very nice around WaterTown but we might be going fishing tomorrow if weather is ok up on Chateaugay Lake, again it depends on the weather though..

It never seems to fail I am all set to go do some great fishing and the weather screws it up,I guess I have the worse luck even with fishing,it would not be to bad with some rain but fishing out of a 12 foot boat and a 10 to 20 mph wind would not be very good for trolling around on a small lake..

Joey said that we will be going Catfish fishing but not this weekend not with the weather the way it is suppose to be..

Need some help from you all out there finding some good YouTube videos on how to tie your fishing lures.

I am looking for a good detailed videos that will show me how to tie a spinner bait or any other types of lures on to my fishing line something that has close up shots showing in details.

So does anyone know of any close detail videos that will show me how to do this?,

If you have any other types of ways to tie your lures on your fishing line that would be also great.

I use to remember a way to tie my lures on my line but like many things I have done I have been forgotten on how to do it any more..I can tie my lures on my line but I no it is not the correct way..

Joey has showed me a couple times since I went fishing with him but always seems to not remember since I do not do it that often, but if I can find a good video I can practice on one of my lures..

So if you all know of any great videos I can watch it would be greatly helpful for me to practice..

Thanks for any help you all can give me as I need it..

The tackle box you have is pretty close in size, have you had the chance and look for a tackle bag?

All I say is the one I got is plenty big enough for me,not sure if it would work for you but I would checking them out and see if it would fit all your tackle you have...

Thanks for the video on how to tie my lures on my fishing line...

I really know very little about fishing but tie a similar knot to that Snell knot in video. Only difference being I wrapped around the line instead of the hook.
