The town took it over several years ago. Not sure what they charge to launch but it includes parking for your truck and trailer.
No ... Norowal is much further into town. Bayshore is next to the Algonquin. It's a little place that has a launch and a gas pump and a few small cottages. You got a permit?? You're lucky!! There's only a few hundred to go around. can always launch without a permit. Now THERE'S an idea!! Make it so that the people in NY can enjoy the lake!! WOW!! ... Wait ..... that's how it USE to be. LMAO I'lll launch without a permit. I don't care.

I know the place you're talking about. Still don't think you're right about registration. There are 165 boats in my marina alone and as far as I know everybody gets a sticker. I've had a boat on lake George for about 20 years and never had an issue with registering. It comes in the mail around February. This may be different for day passes but never heard anyone complain they couldn't launch their boat.

You know Chicken Shoot as long as you know of any good places to get some big Catfish or any other decent size fish I be Happy no matter where we go...

I been looking to see where I can go that is some what close by me and the only areas I know is out by you or when the day comes that me a Joey go out to Watertown,NY and Dexter,NY on Black River which I was told was one of the best places to catch some really nice big Catfish..

I can tell you right now if I could go out your way this weekend I would, but my rod I have now would not handle Catfish fishing, the reel is fine but not the line and rod right now so I need to get my self another rod for Catfish fishing..

I can say one thing you have to have a rod, reel, line and bait for different type of fish you plan on fishing, lol

I will gradually get there on different types of equipment..

        Clarence
I could probably could get away with a 52 inch shaft but if I could get a 54 inch shaft that would be great as I could always adjust the length of the shaft
