LOL, that's probably right.
Sadly, just like so many other consequences of "improved technology, most would probably be lost if something broke within the "black box" or in case of GPS, there was no reception. I want to help the kids think for themselves rather than having to rely on technology to get them through life. Do they even teach small engine mechanics in HS anymore?

I was only kidding. It's always good to have the understanding of how to use the basics. I had to learn hand drafting in high school before we got to use CAD.
I never learned small engine in high school, but I wish I could have. I was elbows deep in small engines then anyway, I would have aced it.Old enough to know better, still too young to care

Also a hand written spread sheet with no auto totals is invaluable.
Can't forget the lost art of conversation, no texting! LOL

I'm curious how well the induction dampening gets the needle to settle down.

So open it already! I wanna know what it looks like under that cover that says "DO NOT OPEN"."I ask, Sir, what is dinner? It is the whole chicken. To pluck the chicken is the best and most effectual way to prepare them."
Colonel Sanders
That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!
I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

Well received the compass this afternoon. Unfortunately it wasn't the one I bid on or wanted. It wasn't even Tritium. I sent seller an email and first response was that the picture was taken on my kitchen table it's the same one that was shipped. Well, I have pictures that would paint a different story. I sent him some pics, along with the packaging that it was delivered in and waiting for a response. I actually took it upon myself to send it back to him, LOL. I told him I'd cover the return shipping either send me the right one or give me a refund. I guess we'll see if he does the right thing...
