Those seem to be a pretty good buy and would work great in a lot of prepping applications but I don't think I'd put them in a mylar bag full of food unless put in some sort of mesh bag first or something to keep them from getting mixed in with the food. i know someone here recommended nylons (like for ladies' legs) and that would work great.
