I agree with C. GMM is a great idea, but it doesn't keep a website going. It's great that we don't talk politics here, but over half the posts aren't related to guns or liberty... the stuff that attracts peeps.

OTOH, it's late winter in NY and there ain't much shooting going on. So there's that.

I've got a couple more articles in the works and encourage anybody else with something to say touch base with C and USMC.

Thanks bro we appreciate it. Trying to keep it fun and give some back. We've got an awesome group here and have received a bunch of generous donations. Near term plan is to get off this cloud version of vBulletin and hopefully get more reliability and control over our future in the process. The whole forum including the name needs to change before investing in serious campaigns.
SEO submissions alone are useless.
Firearms and survival seem like the right focus for a new strong direction so you need to see where the hangouts fall into all this.
Once vison and direction is clear then you concentrate to massively adquire traffic. The type of traffic vendors and sponsors are looking for so you can sell it to fund the site.
also before that you need to make sure the softeare and infrastructure can tqke the traffic in order to give good response times and avoid outages. Cohosted services will not work.
These are some pretty standard directives. Nothing to be invented really.

Also know that Websense blocks this website but doesn't block the "other" one and Northeast Shooters. That's a big dent in your traffic as many people can't participate from work.

Might give some thought to how this site is organized, why things are where they are and are they necessary. Maybe its just me, but I don't understand the nuancing of some of these categories, sub-catagories, and sub-sub-catagories. I'm largely computer illiterate so it probably all makes sense to those that know.
