    • Here you can see a representation of what the 200gr Accubond can do based on trajectory and power. I projected this on a scope using a mil stadia.

Let me know if you like this view...

          • Here some loads we got tested for starters. The caliber can be safely pumped beyond those but one must pay attention
to the brass and after first firing. With some brass we are getting one extra grain of h2o after fireforming for an average of 37.1gr of h2o which is great.
One weird thing is the last batch of hornday 6.5 grendel seems to be 4 thousands less diameter at the base with .439 while lapua is consistent at .443
Still works fine and nothing huge but I just don't know why hornady cannot keep things consistent from one year to the next.

Also so far the 7.62x39 from Federal (FC) is thinner so it doesn't need to be neck turned after forming. Found lots of it once fired that makes
a great source for easy to make cheap cases.
Lapua and Fiocci have been neck turned. We have been necking up 7.62 brass using a .416 mandrel to form a temporary
shoulder and in the next pass the brass is ready for trimming and reloading.

The 9mm Hornady 147gr and H110 has been great for forming the brass while having some fun shooting. They have been
surprisingly accurate despite that they are 9mm bulk affordable bullets with .3565 diameter.

The Grendel brass is perfect and can be formed in one pass slowly. The lee mandrel a bit cut on the tip and polished is perfect
for this. Like always when forming brass it might be wise to anneal so one decreases the chances of any splits.

*** When reloading start low and then increase slowly - Reload at your own risk***

            • I was testing some rounds with the help of a very nice gentleman and I got some very good results.

Here some quick testing of the 200gr FTX impacting at 50-60 yards.
Muzzle speed is 2350fps and the impact velocity is around 2200 fps.
2 x 1gallon water jugs plus a large big of loose wet dirt plus some paper stack and a couple of logs to trap the bullets.

It seems the 200gr FTX are going to be white tail smashers.

                • Do I need to build a new rifle or just a new upper for this round?
I dip my bullets in bacon grease.

We just made new barrels. So new upper only. It uses both 6.5grendel and 7.62x39 magazines and brass.

The round hits like a wrecking ball.
