For shooting bird loads you don't want any sights. You want just the two beads. The less distractions the better.
the choque you need a choque wrench or you can use a coin or make shift one with and old tool or key.
It is a shame when people demanding tolerance, have no tolerance

Hmm...I'm starting to wonder a bit about the HiViz purchase. My reasoning was due to my vision having a high contrast between sights and targets helps with my aim. It's something I've always struggled with ever since I first shot a gun in cub scouts.
I could be wrong...it's happened before and it'll happen again.

There is no aiming in clays only pointing. You really need to concentrate on your target and forget about sights. All you do is pointing the same way as if you point with your finger.
Actually that is a good exercise. Grab your right arm with the other and follow a few targets with your finger pointing and putting the lead with your finger. The reason for holding your
arm with the other one is so you move your torso vs the arms. When you have your gun mounted the cheek should be welded to the comb and you should have a good view of center rib
and the middle and front beads. The best way I came up to describe this is like imagine you were standing at the end of the runway in an aircraft carrier. You see a flat surface pointing
to the horizon and you are integral part of whole view so as the ship goes up and down you move with it.
Remember that the goal with clays is not to hit the clays but to put the shot int he right place almost as if you want the bird to run into your shot. Imagine you are trying to chase your dog
with a hose so as you move you have to give it a lead in order for the dog to run into the stream of water.

I think bright sights are a distraction. Anything that is potentially the same color as the bird even worse. But some folks like them so give them a try vs.a plain white bead.
In my skeet and trap guns there are only two beads. The front bead and mid bid form like a tiny snowman that is how this looks to me. If I close my eyes, mount my gun I know where
those are as I open my eyes they fall in the same place every single time. Ideal you don't have to think about beads or anything just point and concentrate on the target.
Everything happens very fast so you need to drive the shotgun almost as one extension of your body. No time rally to think about aiming or anything similar.

In many ways the skeet and trap concept helps you when shooting other disciplines when objects in motion. It is something that it is actually hardwired in our brains from the stone age when we used spears and arrows for hunting but we have to recall it. Naturally the brain will adjust the lead depending on distance and angle. The more you think about it the worse it gets. LOL

I'll give them both a try Meke. I see things differently from most people, literally so I like having options to play with. An example is those yellow HD glasses that are supposed to help people see better at night don't do squat for me. It's not a color blind issue either. I'd be an interesting experiment for new optics whether it's firearms related or otherwise.

All those folks who go and buy all the stuff day one, sometimes expensive they don't know what they are doing.
It is not like there is one single recipe for everyone or one size fits all type of deal. But also listen to the pointers, go and try what you have, shoot the gun a lot and then the gun and your own body will talk to you through your own experience. But also if you can spend some time with an instructor one on one. This is the most important investment one can make and often overlooked no matter what style of shooting.
Specially keep and eye on what good shooters do and not what brands they are using. The brands and fashions are not needed.

I've shot the gun enough over the years I'm very comfortable with it. Although the new 28 inch barrel changes the weight and balance. I'm eager to give it a go!
