I came to the shotgun section to post of video of the same gun and saw someone beat me to it. Yes these are available at small FFLS in NY, I am sure the big chains are staying away from it as it "looks" illegal in NY. GanderMountain said they would not ship to NY because the barrles do not fire simultaneously, rather the right one with the first trigger pull and the left one with the second pull and according to them technically a two round semi-automatic (god where to these idiots get these ideas). The local FFl claimed they were legal because even though you can fire two rounds like its semi-automatic, its not because each round is being fired from a different barrel, being fed from a different magazine tube. I was going to buy it right then and there but he said it was already promised out, and that the background check was just delayed. Went back the next day and it was gone.

 If the two barrels did fire simultaneously it would be an NFA firearm. That's pretty disappointing to hear about Gander Mountain, but I probably shouldn't be surprised.Originally posted by ADK2ndClub View PostGanderMountain said they would not ship to NY because the barrles do not fire simultaneously, rather the right one with the first trigger pull and the left one with the second pull and according to them technically a two round semi-automatic (god where to these idiots get these ideas).

 Somebody should tell Gander to stop shipping those expensive Berretta and Benelli side by side and o/u shotguns then as they too would technically be two round semi-automatic shotguns per their own definition. F'n morons.Originally posted by ADK2ndClub View PostGanderMountain said they would not ship to NY because the barrles do not fire simultaneously, rather the right one with the first trigger pull and the left one with the second pull and according to them technically a two round semi-automatic (god where to these idiots get these ideas).

 Did you tell them that pump action is specifically excluded from AW definition in PL265.22.(g)(i)(A), so the stock doesn't make any difference.Originally posted by ADK2ndClub View Post

 Furthermore, as the action is operated by hand and does not "utilize a portion of energy of a shell" it specifically fails to meet definition of Semi-Automatic pursuant to PL265.21(g) provided, however, that such term does not include: (i) any rifle, shotgun or pistol that (A) is manually operated by bolt, pump, lever or slide action; (B) has been rendered permanently inoperable; or (C) is an antique firearm as defined in 18 U.S.C. 921(a)(16);

 Better yet, we should just stop buying from them...21. "Semiautomatic" means any repeating rifle, shotgun or pistol, regardless of barrel or overall length, which utilizes a portion of the energy of a firing cartridge or shell to extract the fired cartridge case or spent shell and chamber the next round, and which requires a separate pull of the trigger to fire each cartridge or shell.

 I just stop in on Lunch. I stopped actually buying from them after I bought my Stevens 320 there "on-sale" for $249, and saw it at Walmart and there regular price was 199.99. When I stopped in on Tuesday they had the same Tula 7.62x39 for $7.99 that I buy at Wallmart for $5.35.Last edited by ADK2ndClub; 12-11-2015, 01:50 PM.
