Those are two different rifles. Both have factory furniture. I have not taken the tikka out yet. The accuracy international AT is shooting to my expectation. I don't have a lot of trigger time on the AT, took it out in spring then I hurt my back. So I have been down for a good part of the summer.

Nice rifle!
Tikkas are simple yet nice and accurate out fo the box rifles. Plus they have a 223 with 8 twist offering! Remington and savage don't... for some inexplicable reason.
I have been a Remington (savage too) guy all my life but lately they just seem to have dropped the ball regarding Quality.
That is why savage and tikka are eating their market share when it comes to out of the box value.
Remington actions continue to be very solid to build a custom rifle yet the best Rem 700 actions are not made by remington but 3rd parties.

I have been a Remington fan for a long time. I only own one centerfire savage and I am mostly happy with it. It is my night time hunting rig. I have been reading a lot about Remington qc issues....it is sad to read. Not saying other brands don't have issues but it time for me to try other things. I have a donor Remington 700 that I planned on building off for my wife but idk. By the time I have it built, I could buy another tikka t3x ctr. Ill make that decision after I shoot mine.

The remington continues to be a top platform to build on it. Out of the box the savage seems hard to beat. Tikka is getting a lot of followers. too.
The thing is if one is thinking about after market support then the R700 and savage are the most popular rifles in the world by a large strech.
The savage barrels even on budget rifles seem a lot more value just due to consistent accurate.
Teh savage precission carbine seems like the best value ever and they shoot so consistently well for a budget ouf of the box rifle.
