Hey meke, whats your opinion on the vortex viper 6 5-20x50mm pa with mil dot reticle anyway? Id have rather grabbed the pst, but it wasnt in the budget. And Doug at cameraland gave me a good deal that fit my budget.

Wait a bit longer and get a scope on that category with a first focal plane or then just down to a 300-400 price range because you will not see the difference.
Also look at the weaver tactical with first focal plane. IMO is a bit better glass/value than the PST but both pretty decent entry level long range scopes. I have both in my son's rifles.
