Taurus PT609 recall and lawsuits

Sad story about man who accidently killed his 11 y/o son and wound up shooting himself and his wife in process with Taurus PT609. Surely he is partly at fault but sad nevertheless and Taurus has agreed to refund or replace defective guns up to cap of $30mm (which could actually be as much as $50mm). Be careful if you own one of these and more importantly never point a gun at something or someone you don't intend to kill or destroy. Following basic safety protocol might have prevented this unfortunate tragedy
