I didn't get any video of the cowboy guns (Rob schooled us with the 6 shooter). I also wish I had gotten video of the 1903A3 Springfield but I think we all got bored with hammering the steel (it's a relatively accurate rifle).Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

We beat the steel up pretty good so we flipped it around (this also gives a good idea how long the lane was, that's my truck in the background):
....and then beat the other side up. (Notice the splatter around the chain hook on the left side? We had to go downrange and reset the steel after USMC hit the end of the hook squarely and popped it out....with his 1911!)
Looks like an errant 8mm Mauser round.....time to rebuild the stand:
