So, back-to-back matches were a blast and the time flew by. Well, almost flew by....standing by, watching everybody else shoot while I lamented my busted rifle, waiting for the last course of fire for the first match to finish was kind of a drag. The follower and slide assemble snapped into two pieces which caused a DNF for that last stage. (New parts are already on the way)

Slow prone kicked my ass in the second match although I did manage to get 3 shots on paper. The 03 shoots really sweet, made me look almost as good as my Swiss girl does. I will own one of those beauty's some day soon (we need to talk further about that). Thanks go out to you again for giving me the chance to run that rifle as well as hosting a fantastic match. No pussy pad today, I manned up and went bareback.

Seeing as though somebody made a rule that we have to shoot an additional match before completing the 3gun series next month, I guess I'll have to break out the ex-sniper Mosin and see how she shoots.

I would love to have gotten some video but the folks that run the range apparently frown upon that type of activity.

Tough loss on the rifle breakdown Thug, it always happens at the worst time!
I sell a video camera that is the size of a Zippo lighter that records 1080p for an 1:45. It's real easy to conceal. I will let you use one to record your shooting.
My matches were awesome SUCK. I'm trying to convert from 6:00 to CM hold and my eyes are not dealing with it. During Springfield match, slow prone, I shot a horizontal string from left 7 ring though 10 ring and out to right 7 ring. Never saw anything like that before. The old girl was pounding me out of position and I forgot to spray Tackem on my shoulder which compounded my problems.
Anyway, even though I SUCKED today, I had fun and being around all of our shooters is a blast!

Your a lucky man to have been loaned one. They are a blast to shoot, at least for me they are. All guns are fun to shoot, but maybe just knowing what our fore father's did to help not just our country but the world with these and other past milsurps.
