    Alright here's the deal. I heard over last couple of days employees where I work have been asked by managers if they intend to get vaccinated. Mine hasn't come to me yet.

    I know my company doesn't want to mandate anything since it goes against our culture. That being said I've also heard they believe they are considered federal contractors.

    I read the guidance and believe we are definitely considered federal contractors meaning that I would have until December 8th to get vaccinated (not happening) or get a limited exemption for medical or religious reasons.

    Before knowing what the guidance was today by the federal workforce group I wrote up a religious exemption letter.

    I'll have about a months worth of PTO saved up at that time.

    Other news I haven't really shared yet since it's still early and I haven't told family yet is that it's looking like I'm going to be at Father.

    What I'm looking for is anything that might help me fight this and win. Case law about religious exemption from vaccination. Recommendations for law firms to represent me if I end up losing job. Possible job leads with employers who have less then 100 employees.

    Anything you think could be helpful would be appreciated.

    If I end up losing my job because of this I want to fight it and I want to set precedent for others who are in the same boat.

    I feel what the government is doing is wrong, illegal, and honestly doesn't make sense. They claim it's science based but maybe it's like movies that are based on a true story? Lots of added stuff that isn't real to make the story better?

    I never in a million years honestly thought our country would come to this and stoop this low.

        Wait, what talk?

        This new guideline will also require government contractors who work only at home to be vaccinated however they won't have to comply with masking or social distancing at home apparently.

        Guidance also has clause that they can add requirements for boosters if the CDC recommends them. Read clause under fully vaccinated.

        I bet that's why Biden pushed so hard for boosters available for all by the 20th since this guidance was written 24th.

          A: Congratulations!!!

          B: A lot of lawsuits in the works. Plenty can change by December.

          C: Are employers even legally allowed to ask questions about personal medical decisions? Seems legally risky.

            The government agencies say they can. But it's considered private health information. So does terminating people for not being vaccinated violate that? Since the employer has to protect that information by terminating employees they are indirectly violating their duty to protect it?

              D: The Federal mandate pretty much has to allow for religious exemptions. Biden even said it would. Not that he really knows what he's saying at this point.

                Yes the guidelines say "limited" religious and medical exemptions. And that the unvaccinated will need to wear masks and always maintain 6 feet from people at all times.

                I just need to be prepared in case A: my exemption is denied or B: my exemption is approved however being able to ensure 6 feet separation from others at all times is an undue hardship for employer because they would have to ensure I wasn't within 6 feet of employees going into or leaving work and during lunch or breaks, etc.

                  This whole thing is so ridiculous considering vaccinated people are still spreading Covid. Add in the fact that you've already had Covid and it's just stupid.

                          I can't believe someone hasn't filed a federal lawsuit yet that if there's a vaccine mandate, then they must acknowledge the science of the superior protection of natural immunity.

                            I think there have been some lawsuit filed arguing natural immunity but I believe that was for business mandates.

                              Waiting to here back from my primary. I sent message last night asking if there were any medical exemptions for me which I doubt. I also asked why it's medically necessary for me to get the vaccine since I just had covid and that common sense says that if you had covid and get vaccinate you would have a robust response since it's attacking the spike protein in vaccine. Since the scientists say antibody testing doesn't prove immunity I'm not sure I can believe getting vaccinated even induces super immunity and that unless they can explain why it's medically necessary for me personally to get vaccinated and if I don't get medical or religious exemption I will be losing my job with a baby on the way because I will not get the vaccine based on coercion or fear.

                              Nurse responded back today already and said he would pass message into primary to look into and review and contact me back.
