  • Swiss Vote For More Gun Regulations

Not even close. About 2:1 in favor.

I'm having a hard time finding a solid list of the changes this will entail. I get the impression it will at least be registration and permitting of weapons, but I'm not seeing a news outlet that is laying it out in black and white. Might just be my lack of searching.

The EU had urged the country to tighten its laws in line with rules adopted by the bloc following the 2015 Paris terror attacks.
“The function of the law is not to provide justice or to preserve freedom. The function of the law is to keep those who hold power in power.” – Gerry Spence

It's a fukking shame that the damn progressives are taking over everywhere.

What would change under the EU gun laws:
      • The EU directive bans certain semi-automatic firearms, although Switzerland secured some exemptions.
      • Swiss gun owners will need to secure a special permit to buy semi-automatic weapons in the future.
      • They will also have to prove that they are either a member of a gun club or that they regularly practice sport shooting.
      • Military service firearms, which some choose to keep at home, are exempt from the EU rules.
      • The EU will review its weapons rules every five years and could make further changes.

Any of the following centre-fire semi-automatic firearms:

      (a) short firearms which allow the firing of more than 21 rounds without reloading, if:

      (i) a loading device with a capacity exceeding 20 rounds is part of that firearm; or

      (ii) a detachable loading device with a capacity exceeding 20 rounds is inserted into it;

      (b) long firearms which allow the firing of more than 11 rounds without reloading, if:

      (i) a loading device with a capacity exceeding 10 rounds is part of that firearm; or

(ii) a detachable loading device with a capacity exceeding 10 rounds is inserted into it.

Why would anyone listen to the EU? What have they done to improve anything?

        Idiots.

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.
