To ensure equal access to diaper changing stations, New York state will now require businesses to have changing tables available in new or renovated bathrooms for both men and women. The policy includes restaurants, stores, movie theaters, and state facilities such as parks.

I’m actually on board with this. About 4 .5 years ago, I went out to dinner with my family (parents, sister, and her 2 girls). My wife was sick with hand foot and mouth, so I took our then 1 year old (if he was that old) by myself. He needed a change, but there wasn’t anything in the men’s room to change him on. I had my sister check the wimen’s room, and there was nothing there either. I ended up having to leave the restaurant and change him in the car. Had it not been a nice day, it would have been a miserable experience, rather than highly irritating.

Last I checked, NYS civil law was very specific when it came to the 2nd Amendment.

New York Civil Rights Law art. II, § 4 provides that "A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free state, the right of the people to keep and bear arms cannot be infringed."
"I ask, Sir, what is dinner? It is the whole chicken. To pluck the chicken is the best and most effectual way to prepare them."

That is a NICE looking bunch of meat!

I can still find a use for my thumb, even though it no longer has a hole to finger.

I could have been enjoying his nuts.

          sorry, P.o.P

But " Civil Rights" are "Rights" granted by a Body Politic
Most certainly not unalienable rights as expressed in The Constitution of the united states of America

Civil rights are such rights as Incorporated by .gov

So if they're "inalienable"... .....and the government is violating them..... are they really inalienable?

If a state civil right cannot be infringed, and then the state infringes it, are they not in violation?

We are going a bit off topic here, but that's ok
You, Willie Do not have access to the Constitution
Firstly, it is a set of restrictions on .Gov
Secondly, You ...are property of the Fed .Gov without natural, unalienable rights

"Civil Rights" are not " unalienable rights"
they are "rights" subject to incorporation as a Court sees fit
In other words the STATE is free to interpret your supposed rights
                  Think about it
If indeed You had a Second Amendment Right
                  Why would you need a P.P. ???

                    Indeed.

And why do you suppose it is that I do not have a P.P.?

Well Norm, I am not sure what it is you are looking for, perhaps because this kind of thing is not on my radar other than the 2nd A.

I do know of someone who is hammering this issue on social media, where he claims Gov. Cuomo is violating the laws of NY and the rights of the disabled, including the placement of convicted rapists into group homes. Is this something covered under your original post?
