My non-adventurous Coors-drinking buddy describes it as "2 weeks away from being vinegar".....which pretty much sums up a good sour. They're very tart. If you can find Rodenbach Gran Cru, give it a shot; it's a Flanders red ale sour with a very complex, almost wine-like flavor profile.
