  • Drought taking it's toll

Looks like I'm WFH until the city shows up in the morning to get their damned tree out of my driveway. At least there's no property damage.....glad my daughter parked the truck up by the house last night to leave me room to get the bike by.

I just talked to the city forestry service guy (apparently he lives around the corner from me and stopped in when he drove by and saw the mess), he said this type of tree is susceptible to splitting during prolonged periods of drought. I'd say he's correct.

Told him I want a nice maple tree to replace this POS.

Beer is like porn, you can buy it but it's more fun to make your own

I have to bend over too far

    I get a boner.

bareback every couple of days, GTG. Bareback, brokeback, same $hit!

I joined a support group to help me deal with my social anxiety but I just can't seem to work up the nerve to go to a meeting......

Hoping we get enough rain to help a little this week. I've never heard of trees splitting in dry conditions.

On the bright side, the people living close to lake Ontario are probably happier this year.

The middle limb in the photo was actually a crotch which apparently rotted and split off the trunk, if you look closely at the trunk above where that middle branch appears to be "connected" you'll see that the main trunk above that branch appears white....that's the exposed wood (the split was @ 6 vertical feet long). The lower branch was just a branch that snapped off the main trunk, looks like it was rotten where it attached.
