Appreciate the offer but I'm not very keen on leaving my bike unattended for several days. While the island camping thing sounds really cool, I imagine that we would get a better turnout for an event that is accessible by road. Maybe we can plan for something like that a bit later into the summer?

i'd love to join, this kind of thing is right up my alley as i like to get out kayak/canoe camping at least once a season if i can. even better if it's with a bunch of good guys. but i think i have too many bachelor parties this year to be able to get a few extra days of non-family time off for such an adventure unfortunately. when i say bachelor parties, i mean 3 day long events usually. i can get my girls car camping with me (wife and will be 4 year old), but this is just too primitive for them.

We could most Definitely get a site off road if during middle of week. You would have to park on side of street. Only the handicap site has parking for 2 maybe 3 cars. Then others could be on sites if needed that require boats.

Again I'm fine with picking up people to take them to sites and do some ferry runs to the sites to hang out and back at night to go to bed.

There are really a ton of options .

So I've been looking at map, what are your thoughts? Cluster of sites or shoot for site 37 for everyone or most everyone ?

Once we know how many people are coming we can figure out specifically what sites we plan on getting.

For example let's say that we have to take one further out I could always pick you and your kayak up and shuttle you out there.
