*Description: Develop the knowledge, skills and attitude to carry and use a concealed pistol with confidence.
In the classroom: We talk about situation awareness, proper mindset and concealed carry fundamentals. How to recognize and avoid dangerous situations, dealing with 911, the arrival of police and the psychological effects. We review different types of cc firearms, clothing, gun belts and holsters.
On the pistol range: We start by reviewing basic pistol fundamentals and techniques. Then a series of exercises, like failure drills, malfunctions, proper use of holster, cover, concealment, scanning, threat Id and different shooting positions, like point shoot, on the move, while turning, from kneeling, seating and prone.
