No, I lost my K31's, Enfields, Garands 16 years ago in a theft
they were not in a Safe, just the Colt AR Target that cost $2100 back then, and other AR/AK types
never thought people wold want to steal bolt action rifles
I'd rather have them back
AR's are cheap as all get out these days
and
my service rifles are becoming unobtanium
I think I read something from Paloma a while back where she basically caught the feds unintentionally admitting they've got more records than they're supposed to.
here is a bit of "inside" intel
I have bought "guns" from a retired RPD guy for some 30 years
he sells a LOT of pistols
ATF visits him every 7 - 14 months, and photographs the 4473's in his "bound book"
by LAW
the 473 is supposed to be retained by the dealer for Inspection, but not Data-based
what do you think is happening here ..??
I will have further intel on my other post when I have permission from the Victim
--my Post was interrupted a bit ago
here is what I have to tell
in a recent theft, a number of expensive shotguns and AR Target rifles were stolen
the common .22, and crappy 12g shotguns were left behind, think Mossberg 12g bolt action
remember those "goose guns" ..??
picky thieves, eh ..??
but
within a couple hours tho, the VICTIM was being asked if he had a receipt/bill of sale etc
for stuff that was not"registered" to him
