How about that stupid safety being put on in between every single stupid transition lol..... It's easy to take it off on Benelli but not so easy putting it back on!

In fact I challenge you to some kind of challenge where I win LMAO!

OK, how about 1911's at 100 yards?

BTW, the safety is easy to manipulate on the Mossberg.

T: Don't know if you caught the one guy with the M4 stock (pistol grip) on his Moss 500. THAT safety engagement must have sukt.

Yeah , not that I was there, but I have a moss 500 and never put a pistol grip on it for just that reason.

I had an ATI collapsible with pistol grip on my Mossberg 500 for a while, the controls are NOT setup well for that configuration, running both the safety and the slide lock is a major hassle. It's the exact reason I pulled it and went with the Magpul SGA. Best stock I've had yet on any of my shotguns.

x2 on the Magpul for Mossy, especially for us lefties (AC). You can shorten up the LOP for a good tactical stance (buttstock against chest, feet squared to target) and it's as close as you can get to a pistol grip but still be able to run the top-mounted safety.

Its a "fixed" traditional type stock, but you can adjust the LOP with the included spacers. It's very comfortable for me, it takes up some recoil with the butt plate, it's lightweight, and it's cheap at $100. it has sling mounts cast in, either strap type or quick connect, and it makes accessing the Mossy 500 controls easy.

I do think my stock is tooo long, but the options out there for an M1 are pretty slim. I do like the look of that magpul stock, though.

Early on, I was getting some pain the wrist, from the recoil on the pistol grip. But it subsided after a short while (numb? push-pull?).

Where did you get the velcro for your ESSTAC cards? Dimensions? Considering a standard side saddle, but this seems way cheaper and more effective.

How did you apply the velco to the the ESSTAC cards (I assume the sticky was good enuf for the receiver)? Sewn?

                            Thx

Estac cards come stock with the "loop" component of the velcro, you just need a patch of the "loop" (soft and fuzzy) stuff on the gun. I just grabbed a roll of industrial strength 2" velcro tape from Homo Deemo. Just wipe down the receiver with an alcohol pad (use rubbing alcohol, no need wasting single malt on this task) and the adhesive on the velcro will stick 'er good. Hell, if you show up for lunch this Friday I'll give you a strip of it.

I had a side saddle on my 930, it was a problem for me as a lefty: the saddle mounts on a flat metal plate and the rear bottom corner of the plate would rub against my lower thumb knuckle.....wore a bloody hole in my hand half way through the first SG class I took so off it came during the lunch break.
